I was sent a collaboration link. What is it?

A private page for one Instagram post or shoot we are making with your business: what it is, what we need from you and by when, and one or two buttons to answer with. No account needed.

When we plan an Instagram post or a shoot with you, we send you a link on WhatsApp. It opens a page made for you: the idea, the day it goes out or the shoot day, the steps that are yours and their dates, and the draft to approve when there is one. Nothing to install and nothing to sign in to; the link itself is your key, so keep it to yourself.

The buttons

• "Count me in" and "Not this time" answer the invitation. You can change your mind later from the same page.
• "Approve the draft" and "Ask for a change" appear once the draft is ready. A change request takes a line or two and we send a new version.
• On a shoot, "I'll be there" confirms the date; the page carries the call sheet: time, place, who else is on it, and notes.
• On a shoot, "Open the WhatsApp group" joins the group for that shoot; otherwise "Message us on WhatsApp" opens a chat with us.

Who sees what

Your page shows your side only. On a shoot you see the other vendors' names and roles and whether they have confirmed, as a call sheet does, with your own name highlighted; nobody sees your phone number, your Instagram or your replies but us.

If the link says it is no longer valid

We may have sent you a fresh one, or the plan changed. Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@ceylonwedding.com and we will send the current link.
