Planners and your account

What is the planning sheet?

A Google Sheet of your wedding plan, kept in your planner's Google Drive and shared with you. It appears once a planner on your wedding connects Google Drive, and the website keeps it up to date. Use it to read, print or share your plan; make changes on the website.

If your planner has connected Google Drive, the website keeps a Google Sheet of your plan in their Drive and shares it with you. You find it on the Overview tab under Planning sheet, and in Google Drive under Shared with me.

What is in it

It never holds your guests' RSVP links.

How it stays up to date

A change you or your planner make on the website reaches the sheet within a few minutes. Sync now on the Planning sheet card writes it straight away. The card says when the sheet was last written, and says so plainly if a write did not go through.

Make changes on the website

Edits made in the sheet do not reach the website, and the next time that row changes on the website, the sheet takes the website's version. Use the sheet to read, print or share your plan, and make your changes on the website.

Who can open it

You and the planners on your wedding, each with the address they sign in with. That address has to be a Google account. If it is not, the card says the sheet could not be shared, and your planner can share it from their Drive.

When it ends

When the planner whose Drive holds the sheet stops working on your wedding, the website removes your access to it. The file stays in their Drive with what it held at that moment, and Google keeps its version history. The website cannot delete either, so ask your planner if you want the file gone.
