The Kandyan Osariya, a saree draped in the Kandyan style with its distinctive front fall. Colours run from white and gold through to deep reds, depending on the ceremony. Tamil brides usually wear silk sarees in jewel tones.
Bridal packages vary significantly. A full bridal package (saree, dressing, hair, makeup) ranges from LKR 50,000–300,000+ depending on the artist and location. Made-to-measure sarees and gowns are priced separately.
